16 Legit Places to Find Work-From-Home Opportunities

Hi, I’m Sarah and I’ve been working from home for the past 5 years. If you’re anything like me, you’re made to work from home. I thrive on being alone and being able to focus on the job at hand, without any distractions. I love not having to get in the car and commute for 1 hour + a day, and I really love being able to hang with my two dogs every day. I find that I work less hours because I don’t have any distractions and am not wasting time in the car (although I do miss those car rides sometimes because that’s when I would listen to podcasts!).

I was lucky to stay in my current position when I transitioned to working from home full-time, but if you’re not in the same boat, there are plenty of legitimate opportunities out there.

The only downside that would be harder on some people (as an introvert, I quite like it) is you don’t interact with many people in real life from day to day. This could be hard on your mental health. My way to combat this is going out for a yoga class a few times a week. It feels good to have somewhere to be!
